From plain pine wardrobe to Sherwin William’s Bird’s Egg colored hutch

This project was really quite fun. I wish I had the before pictures but we weren’t on the ball in that department. Shame, shame, shame. I will do better next time 😦

Here is the finished project.

The piece started as a boring pine wardrobe that held a TV in 1998 (before we learned the world of TV was flat). So, feeling sorry for the wardrobe, I begged my husband (a.k.a Captain Crafty) to do….well, something to make it a hutch. He ended up removing the top part completely making the depth shorter and reattaching.
